  • 240

What is Idera ?

1. Repo

cd /etc/yum.repos.d
[r1soft]
name=R1Soft Repository Server
baseurl=http://repo.r1soft.com/yum/stable/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

Save the file and and check if everything is ok.

cat /etc/yum.repos.d/r1soft.repo

Now we can start install the idera agent:

yum install r1soft-cdp-enterprise-agent

We need to change the reposetory because it is different, so we need to change the 'Vault'.
But first we go check if it so and what kernel we running:

cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 5.8 (Final)

To change the Vault:

nano /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Vault.repo

Go to the first "enabled=0" (top of the file)
and change it to "enabled=1" then save the file.

yum install kernel-devel-$(uname -r) -y

Package kernel-devel-2.6.18-308.16.1.el5.x86_64 already installed and latest version

Type then:

r1soft-setup --get-module

Je zult de server flink zien gaan werken (Kan makkelijk 10 minuten duren)
Daarna r1soft restarten en de server is klaar om toe te voegen aan je CDP Beheercenter.

/etc/init.d/cdp-agent restart

vervolgens

/etc/init.d/cdp-agent restart

sql agent in beheer toevoegen
haal op in te backuppen server

cat /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt

dan zie je een wachtwoord voor sql, sla deze op in bv txt bestand

locatie db's
/var/lib/mysql

key aanmaken onderling

r1soft-setup --get-key domeinnaam.nl

indien kernel lastig is als in not found

yum -y update kernel && reboot
